Happy New Year!

I think the new year is fun. How about you? 1. You get to splurge on your diet. 2. You have lots of fun playing games with everyone. 3. Counting down to the new year is always suspenseful and you inhale your last breath of the year and live the last few seconds. It almost feels...magical. Neh I won't get all girly and sappy on ya.

I am scared for this year in particular because from now on I am going to have to put a 1 in front of everything instead of a 0. I know it is a stupid fear. I agree it's just something different especially when you are AOCD (Anal Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) (This is a made up disease. And I am not OCD well not very bad. OK a little I admit it, but who isn't!). I will adjust to it....eventually. Hey in the later years we will be looking back and making fun of ourselves because we were all scared because we have to put a 1 in front of everything....well at least I will. (you can make fun me I don't care)  If any of you readers are AOCD, like me, post a comment saying "I am AOCD!" OK have fun and have a Happy New Year!

Crazy

Hello readers. Welcome back to another crazy day. It might not seem so crazy all the time, but it is and will become even more so as the days go by. We are trying to complete our goal of having readers send in all their crazy stories and more. So will do us a quick favor and type us something and send it in to us at chipotleandjalapeno@gmail.com As you are aware of our blog is a baby and is still under construction in it's own way. We (Jalapeno and me) are still planing and desiding on what to make our blog officially. Maybe a blog like in the earlier days more fashion or tips like FB FarmTown or What to wear on Christmas. Or like what we are in favor of and are doing on our blog at the moment is complete randomness like this post. Yeah I think that is what we are going to be doing. Also the stories I write, tell us if you like them, tell us what you want to read about rather that what makes me look disturbed (I'm not I just like to write creepy stories). So if you have any tips just shoot us an email or type a comment. So lets get to our post for today! (well the fun part teehee)

So lets take a walk in the fictional world.

Going about town was dangerous alone. He new perfectly well he did not want to get hurt, or in trouble, and that is was the wrong thing to do, but he went any way. He was frightened. He saw several people that look harmful, but many that look kind. He thought to himself this is not bad I am fine although my mother think I am taking my nap, but she will never know I will be back after a while. I'm fine I am.....

1

......But he was WRONG! He soon was regretting every moment of his outing......

2

.......So he went back home, but who was there waiting made him shrink 5 times smaller then his, 4 year old, self. His mother was siting in her chair waiting. She new where he was. She took him and told him why not to go out alone and punished him......

3

......But he soon got lost and wondered everywhere from here to there. He looked to the sky and to the ground , but no one was there to help. So he gathered himself up and ran like the wind and lucky enough he landed back home and with a hop, skip, and a leap he jumped in side his bed and started to cry. His mother thought he was taking his nap the whole time, but he snuck away. He confessed with all his heart to his mother and she did what was right.......

Christmas Stories

Ok, we all know Christmas is about over. Tommorow is Christmas Eve! So, starting today, you can send us an email telling us one of your favorite Christmas/New Years memories. But, unlike most contests (This really isn't a contest, i just don't know what you'd call this kind of thing!), this one has a rule:
1. No sad stories. You must send stories in stories that are happy, scary (But then everything else gets better in the end), or funny. No one wants to hear a depressing story!
When the deadline ends (Jan. 1st. Sorry for the rush. The holidays are almost over!), we will post up the top 5 stories. ChipotleandJalapeno@gmail.com

Funny Facebook Status Messages

Do you want to say something funny, but don't know what to say in your status message box on Facebook? Here is some good examples you can use that will make people literally Roll On the Floor Laughing.

Tim is color blind and trying to solve a rubiks cube... This could take a while...
Sara is proud of herself. She finished a jigsaw puzzle in 6 months and the box said 2-4 years.
Katie Have you ever had a fly or small bug land on your computer screen and your first reaction is to try and scare it with the cursor?
Mike It recently became apparent to me that the letters 'T' and 'G' are far too close together on a keyboard. This is why I'll never be ending an e-mail with the phrase "Regards" ever again.
Laura Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarfs aren't happy.
Sally I just read a list of 'the 100 things to do before you die'. I'm pretty surprised 'yell for help' wasn't one of them...
Dave Hi, my name is Damimeve. The 'mime' is silent.
Mary believes that if you tell your boss what you really think of him, the truth will set you free.

Haha! These make me laugh. If you have any more HILARIOUS status messages, please us and email at chipotleandjalapeno@gmail.com! We love to hear from our viewers!

Is The Glass Half Full Or Half Empty?

The question "Is The Glass Half Full Or Half Empty" has been passed down from generation to generation and that splits the world into 2 parts: Pessimists and Optimistics. Here is the definition of a Pessimist from WiseGEEK.com : "A pessimist is a person who nutures a consistently negative attitude, expecting the worst of people and situations....... He or she typically belives that the world in which we live is the worst possible of all worlds and is growing bleaker all the time." On the other hand, from thefreedictionary.com, is says that optimistic means "expecting the best is this best of all possible worlds... is positive, hopeful."
So, if you see the glass being half full, you are an optimistic person. If you see the glass half empty, you are a pessimist.
*This is just and old saying. Its not always true!*

In Today's post i am going to tell you more about what you should wear this Christmas. This is basically a part 3 for What to Wear This Christmas, but i knew that it would get a little confusing saying numbers all the time. ANYWAY, I am going to rate this woman's dress.

I give this dress a 10. Why? Well first of all, this definately is a great Christmas dress. Well, I shouldn't call it a dress, because it really isn't one. Its not long enough to be a dress, but its not short enough to be called a shirt. I'm not sure what these are called, or even if there is a name for them. Anyway, these dresses/shirts are great for winter time because they look great with dress pants, or leggings. Either one will do. The three quater sleeves also give it a promising touch; the knit top looks great too.
As you might have noticed, I didn't mention any negetive things about this outfit. Its perfect for the winter months, and not just Christmas. I would totally recommend buying an outfit like this and wear it.

What to wear this Christmas- Part 2

As you all know, Christmas is 14 days away. And in these 14 days, there will be Christmas reunions, gatherings, parties, and much much more. This post will tell you what to wear.
Look at the model. What would We rate this woman's dress? Probably an 8.0. Why? First off, she is definately wearing 1 Christmas color, which is a plus. Usually red is a better Christmas color to wear than green. Think about it- would she look as good if her top was green? Probably not. Another Plus: Her skirt goes up to her mid-stomach. This works great with woman that have a belly bulge. The bad thing? This dress is supposed to be worn in Winter. Not Summer! This woman would freeze to death! And always, always remember this rule: Comfort comes before Style.  Lets say you wore an outfit to a dance in Summer that covered your entire body. You'd be so sweaty! You would have to take a break between each song to go to the woman's restroom to deodorize your self so you wouldn't smell. That would be horribe.

Kerusso

Kerusso.com is a website that sells t-shirts and other items saying Christian quotes and copying things that are in our day to day life. Thats not a very good explanation, but look at these shirts and you'll see what i mean:

Aren't the shirts cool? I even have some of my own. Sorry that all of the shirts are scattered around! I'm not that good at doing that. Oh, and go to kerusso.com to see a better close up of the pictures.

Where's George?

"Where's George?" is a website where you can find out where your money has been. How? You enter the little bunch of numbers on your dollar into the box. You also must put in how much your dollar is ($5,$10). You can also put how you got the dollar, where and why, so when the next person that gets the dollar can type in the imformation to see where its been. Its cool! Most likely you'll be the first person to enter a dollar simply for the reason that "Where's George?" isn't quite popular yet. To make it more fun, tell your friends and family about this amazing site. That way this website will get more and more popular, and you will see when you type in a random dollar where it has been. Try it- you'll like it.

Free...Free As A Bird

Free...Free As A Bird

A Short Story

Sweetly I looked over my shoulder and smiled at her she did not smile back. I was in the front seat of the car and she was in the back. I was not mad at her, but she was mad at me. I did not understand why because we had been friends for a few years now and I did not do anything to hurt her. I was just caught in some situation I could not fix. I turned on the radio and my mother looked at me funny so I turned it off. Again silence. Finally I spoke, “Come on why are you so mad? I don't get it! Just tell me. What did I do!!!” My mother pulled the car over and pulled me out of the car. “Do you not know what happened!?! And don't yell at her! She is trying to get over this.” I looked at my mom very sternly. “What do you mean by that. I haven't heard anything!” “Shh...! Be quiet!” She explained it all right there on the side of the road. I started to cry a bit. “But how did he die? How did she not tell me? Why wouldn't she?” “Maybe she thought you knew or that I told you-” “-But you didn't! Why not!” “I thought you would be the first one to know her father died at war.” “Don't...just don't talk to me anymore.” I crawled into the back of the car from my seat and looked at Jane. “You did not tell me! Why!?!” She looked at the floor and did not acknowledge me a bit. “Hey!” I yelled. She looked up. “You don't...You won't...You will never understand will you?” I look angrily at her and then confused. “What do you mean. I thought your father just died at war. Isn't that all? Is there something you're not telling me!?! Tell me!” I shook her violently. She looked up at me with a demented look on her face. “I don't need your abuse.” I was shocked. I sat in my seat and looked at my mother crying outside. I was mad. I turned again to Jane and looked sharply at her. “I don't ever want to speak or acknowledge you ever again.” I started to cry because I knew Jane so well and I had a good friendship with her, but this was the last time I was probably going think of her as a friend. “But I can't do that to my.....” I had to take the highroad. What else was I supposed to do? “......Friend.” She looked confused at me and sniffed. Then she broke into a smile. Things were still bitter with us, but it was better to forgive than to regret. My mother walked back into the car and gave me a piercing look . I halfway expected her to look at me and say she hated me, but she held it back. I was always jealous of Jane. She was nicer, prettier, thinner, and smarter than me and all the boys were crazy over her. My mother, it seamed, loved her much more that me. She would rather have Jane as her daughter than me. She even wanted me to be named Jane, but my father insisted I be named Penelope. My mother hated that name and wanted Jane, but my father won. I thought that name sounded like a pig's name and it is like that on book and/or movie where the girl has the pig nose that has my name. I am fat and piggish like in the face and I think if only I was named Jane I would have such grace and elegance as her, but no. I looked at Jane from the rear view window. I admired her, but hated her so much that I wished her and my mother died in a fiery car wreck. I wanted to be alone forever. I don't understand why Jane thought I would not understand her father's death. My father died too. Well he never died....He just left...because my mother's constant bi-polar episodes. He left me too though. I sometimes wished I had never been born or I had run away when I had the chance. I had wonderful daydreams of me killing the both of them and going to jail happily ever after. Why did I choose to be nice to Jane? Why am I still here? I want to leave I do. I unsnapped my seatbelt and opened the car door and ran free. I ran free. I looked back while running and my mother....she was smiling and then Jane crawled in the front seat. Then they were both laughing. I cried and kept running. Free...Free as a bird. I thought at any moment I would awake from a bad dream, but it was not a dream. This...This is real! Free....Free as a bird! I flew away forever!

Ways to save money this Christmas- Part 2

Here is Part 2 of Ways to save money this Christmas. If you haven't read Part 1 yet, please do so.

Great Gifts- Usually its pretty hard to find a good gift. Here are some good ideas that hardly cost a penny.
  •   Re-gift- Its pretty easy to do. When you receive a gift, make sure you are going to use it before you open the box. Make it a little different so its not obvious if the person would see the gift you got them ; and make sure the person that gave you the gift does not know the person you're giving it to. Also make sure its nothing that you can find only in a certain place.
  • Gift Cards- This is a great idea if you have no idea what to give a person.
  • Ask others to pitch in- If you have siblings or other family members, and you want to give a gift to your parents for example, ask them if they would like to give some money to help buy a present. That way  you can buy something pretty big, and it will save you all money.
  • Magazine Subsciption- these are great if the person loves to read.
  • Make a Baking Kit- Put the main (won't spoil) ingredients of one of your favorite recipes (works great with cookies) in a mason jar. Include the rest of the recipe tied with a ribbon to the top of the jar.
  • Coffee mug and Starbucks coffee ground.
  • Recipe Book with all of your favorite recipes.
  • Chocolate bars with red ribbon around them.
  • Magazines the person likes tied together with a ribbon.
  • iTunes gift card- Make sure they own an Ipod!
Hope you enjoyed the last part of this Ways To Save Money This Christmas post. Merry Christmas! And email us if you have anymore suggestions!

Ways to save money this Christmas- Part 1

As you all know, Christmas is coming up and it will be here before you know it. Todays post is about saving money this Christmas. Christmas is probably the most expensive holiday, if you think about it, but its also the most memorable holiday too. Sending cards, buying gifts, decorating. It all costs money. So we're going to tell you the best ways to save money this holiday.

Decorations: First of all, start Christmas-decorating shopping early. Most retail stores start in late November, but others start in early December. It just depends. But you want to get your shopping done early, get it all done and over with. But then again, most stores start marking down prices when it gets really close to Christmas, but its your choice. Here are some ways to save money decorating:
  • Buy decorations after Christmas when the prices are super low for the upcoming year. This will save you alot and when Christmas comes the next year you'll be very happy you did so.
  • Use pinecones and acorns or other items you find outdoors that won't rot or smell.
  • Use popcorn to decorate the tree.
  • Decorate cereal and Fed-Ex boxes in wrapping paper and put them by the tree. This gives your house another Christmas-y feeling.
Christmas Cards: Are you a person that loves to send Christmas cards? Its quite nice to send them to people, and to receive them. But really, they cost extra money and you don't have to send them. Here are some ways to still spread the feeling of Christmas but still save money:
  • Send letters or postcards. You can still make the letters and postcards as Christmas-y as a Christmas card. You can put stickers on the letter, use glitter, or anything. Another great touch is a border along the edges of the letter. Maybe you can have one of your children draw a candy cone or a snowflake and put it on the front. If you have access to a printer, copy the drawing so you can have the same thing on as much cards as you want. Or, you can write something like: "Merry Christmas! The (Your Familys last name) hope you have a great Christmas!" (P.S you can get some better sayings from previous cards you have received or on the web.) before you copy it, if you don't care sending the same card to different people. But if you would like to say more detailed or personal things to different people, just copy the drawing ONLY  so you can write your own special message.
  • Call people. Usually a phone call is more meaningful than a card.
  • Don't mail cards if you don't need to. If its for a friend at work, give them the letter/card at work. If its for family, wait until you see them.
  • Send free e-cards. They come through email and usually have a link to the website where the person made the card. It also includes music and usually the objects in the card move. Here are some great websites for making e-cards: 123greetings.com, free-e-cards-online.com, e-cards.com, etc. Try google-ing "Free E-Cards".
  • Save your Christmas cards so you can use them next year. Why? Cut the tops off of one of your old cards and glue a piece of colorful construction paper to the back and write your Christmas message. You've just made a postcard!
  • Buy Christmas cards after Christmas when the price has dropped so you can use them next year.

I                        Thanks for reading this! Part 2 will be posted soon.

How to make coins on Facebook's FarmTown- Part 2, 3 , and 4

Part 2- Harvest Friend's Farms
This is basically what you do at the market- only its your friends farms you harvest. To do this, click on one of your friends at the bottom of your screen. This takes you to there farm. When you get there, there should be a little message that pops up asking you to do some work at your friends farm and earn some coins.
Part 3- Sell Gifts
Sometimes your friends will send you gifts for your farm. If you don't want it, you can sell it. How do you do this? In the right corner of your screen, there is a couple icons there for the map, store, gifts, etc. Click on the Gifts icon. If you have some gifts you haven't used yet, there should be a little number in the Gifts icon telling you how many you haven't used yet. Anyway, clicking the icon, it will bring you to all your gifts. When you click on one of yours, it gives you 2 choices: to use the item or to sell it. Click "sell".
Part 4- Plant and Harvest Crops
Another way to get money is to plant crops and harvest them. You will get more money for your crops if you get someone to harvest them for you (to do this, go to the Market and hire someone). If you are just getting started, grapes are the best. They grow in 4 hours and only cost 20 coins per square.

The Journal My Friend Gave Me

The Journal My Friend Gave Me

A Short Story

I looked over to the phone and cried and cried because, well I'll get to that, but first lets start at the beginning. It was my first day of school and I felt confident, but I was afraid about everything. I walked around the halls and tried to get used to the new surrounding then I noticed there was no one I knew there. They were all supposed to go to this school, but no, they are all gone. I was scared and worried and impatient. I remember I forgot to take my medication and I popped a pill in my mouth. I began to see funny things around me and I started to sweat. I wandered around and then ran outside and puked. I ran home missing the rest of the school and I was worried so, instead of turning home where I was supposed to turn I just kept running and running. I knew something was wrong. I stopped on the side walk and screamed as loud as I could. I curled up in a ball and screamed and screamed. I can't tell you what happened next because I don't remember that well. All I know is that people swarmed me and I woke up in a white room with an IV in my arm. I looked down at it and I pulled it out and I became sleepy. I heard beeping and people yelling at me, but then I started convulsing and everything went black. I woke up again and took a deep breath and looked around. I was in a different room and there were more nurses. I could see my reflection in the TV that was turned off and I looked awful. My eyes were yellow and my skin was pail. My hair was damp from sweat. I felt weak and annoyed. I looked at the nurse and screamed at her. It was not a mad scream, but a painful scream. I cried and screamed at her she looked scared of me and her eyes welled up and she cried. I screamed at the top of my lungs and arched my back so my chest was towards the sealing. My face was red and my throat was sore from screaming, but I screamed for at least a minute straght. I started convulsing and I pulled at the bed. I looked at the nurse and pleated. “Help me!!!” I screamed and then blackness again. The next time I woke up I was in a straitjacket in the corner on a room that was white and soft. I laid on the soft floor and started to laugh insanely. Then I caught myself acting crazy and got an awful look on my face and screamed. I stayed there for what seemed like years, but then they said I could make my weekly phone call. I walked down the cold white halls and looked at all these people passing bye. They hissed at me or laughed or screamed. I was frightened and would hiss back or scream and try to bite them, but a big scary strong man was holding me back and I gave him and evil smile. The man was a brick and would not show emotion. They sat me down at a phone and I picked it up and dialed my mother and spoke to her saying I was fine and that I love her. She cried a lot. So did I. Then I took the big man's hand and he walked me back to my room. He told me his name, Gabriel. I smiled. “Like the angle?” I asked He laughed and took me back to my comfy room and put me back in my jacket and I fell asleep. I soon learned that he was my nurse and would help me get better. He gave me work sometimes like this journal. He told me to write my feelings down in it and to keep it close to me and write everything in it. That is what I am doing, but I am worried. I asked the lady nurse who gives me my medication where Gabriel is and she looked at me confused. “Who?” “My nurse.” I said. Then she said, “I have never heard of him. I have been here five years and I never heard of him. Besides, I'm your nurse.” “OK.” I said. I grabbed my journal and began to write so here I am now. I have not seen Gabriel in a long while. I am sad, but I know he misses me I miss him too. OK. I will write later. Bye-bye.

How to get coins on Facebook's FarmTown-Part 1

If you are just getting started on FarmTown, you are probably looking for every possible way to make money, or coins. If you are saving up to buy something you are probably trying to make alot of coins also. In this 1 of 3 part guide, you will learn the best ways to get more coins.

GET HIRED AT THE MARKET PLACE
To go to the Market Place, click the Map at the bottom of the FarmTown menu, in you lower right corner. When the Map opens, click the Market Place icon. When you arrive at the market, there will be a pop-up message saying somthing like: "What would you like to do?". Unless you want to sell some
gifts or harvests, go back home, or hire someone to harvest or plow your field for you (more on that later), click the answer that says "Never Mind". Clicking this choice will leave you where you are, at the market. Now you will have to stand there and wait to be hired: But make yourself noticeable. Keep clicking a different spot at the market and your avatar will go there. And don't stand behind someone. To dance, move your mouse back and forth. Another way to get noticed is to talk to others waiting to be hired also in the chat box. Say somthing like "I want to get hired", but don't beg. Begging gets on others' nerves and can be a very easy way NOT to get a job. Some easy ways to get a job is to say somthing like "I can harvest and plow faster than you can say this sentence". This way people know you really want to get a job, but you're not begging. This also adds humor, which is another plus.
Sooner or later, someone will ask you to do something for them at there farm.  If someone hires you, a message will pop up asking if you want to take the job. Click the message that says "Sure, i have time", or somthing like that. This will bring you to the person's farm and you can start doing whatever the owner of the land told you to do: harvest or plow. Once you are done, say thanks and leave in the chat box, because they hired you to do somthing and you got money for it. Sometimes you will receive 25% of what they make off of that crop; sometimes if you're lucky, you'll get 50%. It all just depends. The crops that you get a lot of coins for harvesting are:
Peppers
Pumpkins
Cotton
Coffee
and more.
If you plow, you won't get as much money as you will harvesting. Most likely you will only get about 5 coins per square you harvest, which really isn't that bad, if you are trying to get as much coins as you can.

Something was not right when I opened the door. I was stared down by them all. What happened ? I slowly sat my bag on the bench by my front door and I took off my snow shoes and coat. I grabbed my bag and walked to my room confused. I sat on my bed and finished my homework and then sat down at my computer. I looked at my reflection in the black screen. I saw another figure too. I quickly spun around to see what it was and it was gone. My heart raced and I looked around nervously. I wanted to screem for help, but something hapend with my family and they were mad at me and I did not want to talk to them. Besides they might think I was lying.

My Fault

My Fault

A Short Story

I smiled as the man took my picture. I was very sad though I did not want to show that in the picture. It was obvious. Everyone was sad too. When she died I felt as if I died too. She was my bestfriend and I saw her everyday. We met on the corner of Browning and Smithson st. every week day to go to school together. One morning I walk to the corner and waited until I could not wait any longer or I would be late for school. I nibbled at my bagel as I walked. I was walking in a fast walk rather than a run because I was hoping she would run behind me saying “Hey! Sorry I was late I remembered I had to get something out of my room when I was walking out the door.” She didn't. I remembered a tradition we had of trading our breakfast when we met and would eat on the way to school. I had her favorite type of bagel today. I was hoping she would walk up to me and say “Oh! My favorite!” I was starting to worry as I walked up the stairs to get to school. Then I went to my locker. And then went to my homeroom. She was no where to be found. We had a lot of the same classes in the afternoon, but just Mr. Froundergarden's second period math class. I was puzzled. Where was she? As lunch came around I sat at our favorite spot to sit. She did not show up. I thought maybe she was sick, but if so she would have called me. Besides she was never sick. Understanding that made things worse and I started to scare myself. I walk home by myself. I remembered I took the other way to get to Browning and Smithson. Instead of walking striate to the left until I reach Mountain Pass Lane then going to the right and ending up on Browning st. I turned right and went straight until I got to Top Notch Lane then pass up Browning st. then turn right to get to Fill Drive. Then I would turn right again to get to King Pass Then I turn right again and get to Browning st. I took the long way because I had not gone that way before. I walked inside my house and said hi to my mom. She did not say anything back to me, but looked deeply in my eyes. “Samantha, Grace's mom called me...” She trailed off then seated me down on the couch to explain what happened. Grace had gone to the corner and waited for me. Then I was taking too long and she turned back to check on me because she thought I would still be at home or we would cross paths on the way. Then a car came and skid off the road hitting her and tossing her into a huge rose bush on the corner of Browning and Smithson st. where I was standing waiting for her when she was there the whole time because the drive never stopped to check on her. I started to gag and ran into the bathroom and puked. I cried and told my mom what happened. So here I am now at her funeral and some man is taking pictures. Why? I don't know, but I can never forgive myself because I was the reason she was killed. If I went the normal way and met with her then gone to school and missed that car that hit her she might still be alive. Isn't it funny how one day someone is there and the next day they are not because you change one thing out of your day and then you regret it.......Forever.......And if Mrs. Burch, who lives on the corner, had not gone outside to water her bush, Grace might have not been found for longer than she was missing. And how do we know what she was doing or thinking when it all happened? She was still alive in that bush, but was silently screaming to me, but was too hurt to make noise. Then when she had some medical help she was able to tell her story to her mother, but it drained the last of her energy and she died. It's my fault.....All Mine........Her last words were “Hug Samantha for me, mom. I love you. Good Bye......” Tears built up in my eyes and I grabbed the camera from the man's hands and threw it as far a I could then got on my knees in the cold mud and screamed. It started to rain again and I cried and cried.......and cried......

How to take a good Facebook picture

Your Facebook picture is the first thing people see when they are about to request or confirm you as as friend. You really don't want to have a bad Facebook picture on your profile to represent you.
Taking a picture for you profile is easy enough, but it requires a bit more thought to take a GOOD one.

STEP 1: (Think of the type of picture you want.) Remember, your Facebook picture will be the first impression on people looking at your profile. Take a picture that really expresses who you are. Most people choose a picture of their face; some choose of full body shot. Put some thought into it.
STEP 2: (Take the picture.) Either take the picture for yourself, or have one of your friends or family take it for you. Don't forget to smile! Nobody is going to want to see your profile if you look miserable in the picture.
STEP 3: (Review the picture.) Take a look at the picture once it has been taken. If you think its good,  continue on. If not, re-shoot it. Take as long as you need to; your facebook profile will benefit from it.

A Short Story: Scare Me

Scare Me
A Short Story

In the morning I awoke to a noise down the hall. I tiptoed out of my bed and grabbed a flashlight. I breathed deeply and my heart raced. As I got down the hall my legs turned to Jell-O. I Started to freak out as I saw a light in my kitchen I hurried to th hall closet where I grabbed a knife that was still in it's packaging from yesterday's attempts to try to make my temporary home more comfortable.

I walk slowly again with the knife in my hand. I was in a small night gown and I could feel the cold night's air against my arms and legs. I shivered from the cold, but also from fear. I did not feel confident at all. I was scared, weak, and small. What could I do if it is someone big, strong, scary. I had a knife, yes, but what if he or she probably he, had a gun or grabbed me and knocked the knife out of my hand and he is too big to fight off, like most men compared to me because I am a small frail little person.

I would have called the police, but my phones were not hooked up yet and I did not have a cell phone because I was switching companies. Oh my, I just don't know why this is happening I am so sad, mostly scared. I creped down the hall and it seem like an eternity.

I got to the kitchen and the refrigerator was opened, but I did not see anyone. Was I sleep walking? Did it open by itself?

The refrigerator light was on and light up the room. I slowly walked around the refrigerator door. I looked down and I knew who the trespasser was.

It was a little hungry raccoon. I started to laugh to myself from all the fear. I knew that raccoons can be dangerous so I persuaded the little guy out side with an old sandwich I was going to throw out anyway, to go outside. Then I shut the door and made sure everything was in it's place and I went down the hall and put the knife away and went right back to sleep.
