Cucumbers

1. Cucumbers contain most of the vitamins you need every day, just one cucumber contains Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc.

2. Feeling tired in the afternoon, put down the caffeinated soda and pick up a cucumber. Cucumbers are a good source of B Vitamins and Carbohydrates that can provide that quick pick-me-up that can last for hours.

3. Tired of your bathroom mirror fogging up after a shower? Try rubbing a cucumber slice along the mirror, it will eliminate the fog and provide a soothing, spa-like fragrance.

4. Are grubs and slugs ruining your planting beds? Place a few slices in a small pie tin and your garden will be free of pests all season long. The chemicals in the cucumber react with the aluminum to give off a scent undetectable to humans but drive garden pests crazy and make them flee the area.

5 Looking for a fast and easy way to remove cellulite before going out or to the pool? Try rubbing a slice or two of cucumbers along your problem area for a few minutes, the phytochemicals in the cucumber cause the collagen in your skin to tighten, firming up the outer layer and reducing the visibility of cellulite. Works great on wrinkles too!!!

6.. Want to avoid a hangover or terrible headache? Eat a few cucumber slices before going to bed and wake up refreshed and headache free. Cucumbers contain enough sugar, B vitamins and electrolytes to replenish essential nutrients the body lost, keeping everything in equilibrium, avoiding both a hangover and headache!!

7. Looking to fight off that afternoon or evening snacking binge? Cucumbers have been used for centuries and often used by European trappers, traders and explores for quick meals to thwart off starvation.

8. Have an important meeting or job interview and you realize that you don't have enough time to polish your shoes? Rub a freshly cut cucumber over the shoe, its chemicals will provide a quick and durable shine that not only looks great but also repels water.

9. Out of WD 40 and need to fix a squeaky hinge? Take a cucumber slice and rub it along the problematic hinge, and voila, the squeak is gone!

10. Stressed out and don't have time for massage, facial or visit to the spa? Cut up an entire cucumber and place it in a boiling pot of water, the chemicals and nutrients from the cucumber with react with the boiling water and be released in the steam, creating a soothing, relaxing aroma that has been shown the reduce stress in new mothers and college students during final exams.

11. Just finish a business lunch and realize you don't have gum or mints? Take a slice of cucumber and press it to the roof of your mouth with your tongue for 30 seconds to eliminate bad breath, the phytochemcials will kill the bacteria in your mouth responsible for causing bad breath.

12. Looking for a new way to clean your faucets, sinks or stainless steel? Take a slice of cucumber and rub it on the surface you want to clean, not only will it remove years of tarnish and bring back the shine, but is won't leave streaks and won't harm you fingers or fingernails while you clean.

13. Using a pen and made a mistake? Take the outside of the cucumber and slowly use it to erase the pen writing, also works great on crayons and markers that the kids have used to decorate the walls!!
Pass this along to everybody you know who is looking for better and safer ways to solve life's everyday problems..

Aww!

A three-year-old walked up to a pregnant lady while waiting with his Mother in the doctor’s office.
He inquisitively asked the lady, “Why is your stomach so big?”
She replied, “I’m having a baby.”
With big eyes, he asked, “Is the baby in your stomach?”
She answered, “He sure is.”
Then the little boy, with a puzzled look, asked, “Is it a good baby?”
She said, “Oh, yes. It’s a real good baby.”
With an even more surprised and shocked look he asked,”Then why did you eat him?”

Life

If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won’t survive the week.

If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.

If you attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare.
If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.

If you can hold someone’s hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God’s healing touch.

If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.

30 Books Of The Bible Answers/Results

We have our winner for the 30 Books Of The Bible puzzle we posted last Wednesday! Her name is Leslie Longstreth from New York, New York. She sent us an email with the answers to the puzzle about 5 hours after we published it, and 5 hours seems like a long time, but really, its fast. The puzzle usually takes a person 2-3 days to finish, so really, thats pretty significant. In Leslie's email, she writes, "I love your blog and I always try in participate in the contests if I have the time. I love doing puzzles like cross-words and word finds, so when I saw that that was on a post, I was excited. I thought 'Even if I don't get first place, I will still have enjoyed trying it.' So I grabbed my Bible and looked through the Table Of Contents for books in the puzzle. I worked on it non-stop for a long time. When I was finished, I couldn't believe I got it all done. It was fun. Will you start publishing more puzzles?"
Thanks Leslie! We will now show you the answers. But just in case you didn't finish it and you are still working on it, we will only tell you what books are in the puzzle, but not where you find them. Here are the books, in order:
Amos
Mark
Luke
John
Joel
Judges
Job
Hebrews
Esther
Acts
James
Ruth
Romans
Titus
Matthew
Genesis
Philemon
Chronicles
Daniel
Nahum
Hosea
Lamentations
Revelation
Timothy
Samuel
Malachi
Peter
Exodus
Kings
Thats all of them! I hope you enjoyed doing it. And Leslie, to answer your question, since you really want us to do more puzzles, we will.

30 Books of The Bible

This is a really cool puzzle! Its addicting to keep on trying to find more books. I want you to try it. I recommend copy/pasting it to Microsoft Word or whatever is on your computer, then printing it off so you can try and find books in it whenever you want.
If you don't know all the books of the Bible, Google it. Plus, let me warn you, that their aren't all of the books of the Bible in this paragraph. And about a fourth of the words hidden in the puzzle are not the most popular books. So, really keep your eyes open. Here is the puzzle.

There are 30 books of the Bible hidden in this paragraph. Can you find them all?
This is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much, he passed it on to some friends. One friend from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend, was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column. Another friend judges the job of solving this puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are easy to spot. That's a fact. Some people, however, will soon find themselves in a jam. Especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or scholar to see some of them at their worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in this paragraph. During a recent fundrasing event, which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new record. The local paper, The Chronicle, surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Humana humbly puts it, "The books are all here in plain view hidden from sight." Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus; there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph waiting to be found.

If you find all of the books, copy-paste this paragraph to the email you are sending to chipotleandjalapeno@gmail.com, and use bold print or underline the hidden books of the Bible.
The person who sends it in first will be named winner! The deadline is Thursday, the 15th.

It's Like Your Two

It's Like Your Two

So warm and nice
Then to cold ice
Some thing's wrong
Not balanced here any more

I remember when you were all smiles
Now it's like your just plain unpredictable
Slamin' doors
Screamin' words you really don't mean

You start a fight for no reason
I get mad
Oh
So mad
You cry
It's like your two
One is you
Then one just
Oh it just ain't

You smile
Then you shout
Your alive
Then you pout

You really don't know who you are
I know when you laugh your about to
Cry

So hold on

It's like your two
One is you
Then one just
Oh it just ain't

You smile
Then you shout
Your alive
Then you pout

There's no
End
To it all

Some days it feels like
Your off
Then your
On
Again

It's like your two
One is you
Then one just
Oh it just ain't

You smile
Then you shout
Your alive
Then you pout

I'm getting'
Sick and
Tired, Oh baby
'Cause you
Oh, you

Your not the same person
I try to comfort you, you, you, YOU
Just throw me away
'Cause all you want is me
Does that make any since at all
Oh, to you

It's like your two
One is you
Then one just
Oh it just ain't
Anymore

You smile
Then you shout
Your alive
Then you pout

OH, Just come back to earth
Please, please, please
Just come back
Please, please, please
Come back
Please, baby please, please
Just come back to earth
Be your self again
Please, baby please, please
Please I beg you
Please, please, please
Just come back to.....
Earth

Complete

Complete

Look at you
Then look at me
What a difference there could be
But no matter how different we are the same

Together Forever
Different but same
Worlds apart but....

We complete the circle
Complete the round
Complete each other in many ways
Can't explain but we fit
The puzzle peaces are completed
You complete complete me
I complete you and
What a perfect match
You and me together.....

When my shades of gray consume you
Your shades of gold and silver wipe it all away
I know in my heart that I

Together Forever
Different but same
Worlds apart but....

We complete the circle
Complete the round
Complete each other in many ways
Can't explain but we fit
The puzzle peaces are completed
You complete complete me
I complete you and
What a perfect match
You and me together.....

Sing a song
Hum a tune
Complete complete complete
You and me

Complete each other in many ways
Can't explain but we fit

Flawed and Broken

Flawed and Broken

Why do you always have to make me feel so small
Even if there are no tears there are scars
My heart is broken with hurt
The heaviness weighs and
Slowly, but surely breaks my heart

It'll take some time, but I'll get over you
I promise I will
Don't, you, worry about that
But you wouldn't anyway
Because you are you
Just because you are you
Flawed and Broken
Making your worries my own

I stand around waiting for the deep burn you are to fade away
You never will
You'll be there
I know

So save me some scars and leave me alone
You don't know who your dealing with
I deal with you so....
I can deal with my problem of you

It'll take some time, but I'll get over you
I promise I will
Don't, you, worry about that
But you wouldn't anyway
Because you are you
Just because you are you
Flawed and Broken
Making your worries my own

You quickly take my joy and make my good moods fade
So go just leave before I cry for you again
No need to stick around
'Cause I'll just keep crying and that's not what I want
You're not what I want
I don't need you
So leave
Just simply leave
Get out of my life

It'll take some time, but I'll get over you
I promise I will
Don't, you, worry about that
But you wouldn't anyway
Because you are you
Just because you are you
Flawed and Broken
Making your worries my own

You burn my scars deeper and deeper each day
Yet the tears get less
'Cause there's none left to cry
None at all
You took them all
You stole
You stole my life away from me

I can't even tell you how badly you treat me
I can't even tell you
I just can't

It'll take some time, but I'll get over you
I promise I will
Oh yes I will
Don't, you, worry about that
But you wouldn't anyway
Because you are you
Just because you are you
Flawed and Broken
Making your worries my own

Flawed and Broken
Flawed and Broken
Flawed and Broken

You break my heart in ways that I will never be healed
Oh But

It'll take some time, but I'll get over you
I promise I will
Oh yes I will
Don't, you, worry about that
But you wouldn't anyway
Because you are you
Just because you are you
Flawed and Broken
Flawed and Broken
Just simply Flawed and Broken
